Mountains might seem like they are sublime features that are unchangable. But anybody who has spent a day admist the Tyrolean mountains will know that the core features of our alpine world are motion and transition.
This becomes apparent during a run along the river Ziller, a walk up to the ‘Haselbach’ waterfall, and during a downhill mountain bike ride when no stone is left unturned. Our mountain landscape is alive and we cannot think of anything better than to be active in it. This is why we have put together a sports and outdoor programme that reaches from snowshoeing to full-on mountaineering.

Our executive chef Martin is the head of our kitchen team and brings a set of skills to the table that he aquired in some of the most renowned houses in Austria. He refines, develops, and adapts them in his very unique way and we have been continuously surprised by his sense of combining the regional with the international. You do not have to have exceptionally refined taste in dining and wining in order to appreciate the carefully selected wines in our in-house cellar, the hotel’s very own herb garden, and theunique taste fusions in our meals. For us the mark ‘superior’ that flags our extras beyond the 4-star standard is more than a rating of the hotel industry. It is more than a committment to excellence and more than an indication for an upward movement.
We are convinced that at the first instance excellence is about depth rather than height. We know that true pleasure and true relaxation is felt deep inside and that our own development towards high-class hospitality was only possible because we gradually grew as a family business.
